NMH campus and dormitory accommodations

Northfield Mount Hermon, a college-preparatory school for day and boarding students in grades 9 to 12, plus a postgraduate year, sits above the Connecticut River in western Massachusetts. NMH was founded in 1879 with the mission of educating the heads, hearts, and hands of students from across the U.S. and around the globe. The school empowers students to find purpose in their potential as they stretch their intellects and deepen their compassion within a community that believes in their potential to become leaders who will make the world more equitable and just.

During the summer months, NMH hosts NMH Summer programming for rising 7th to 12th graders, as well as athletic camps and conferences.

As an NMH Perennial College 2025 participant, you will enjoy classes in state-of-the-art-campus facilities, dine in the stunning Alumni Hall, and stroll hillside campus paths and trails. You’ll have access to NMH’s Calagione Fitness Center, outdoor track, Schauffler Library, and Memorial Chapel. You’ll stay in one of our newest campus dormitories, with shared restrooms by floor, elevators, and air conditioning in common areas.

Please note that medical facilities are not available on campus. Pharmacies, urgent care options, and Baystate Franklin Medical Center are located in nearby Greenfield, Massachusetts.
